QUEZON CITY, June 1, 2025 – Police Colonel Randy Glenn Silvio, Deputy District Director for Administration and Officer-in-Charge of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), reports the district’s excellent administrative performance covering the period of May 25 to 31, 2025.
Among the notable accomplishments, the QCPD Medical and Dental Unit (QCPDMDU), in coordination with its roving medical teams, extended essential health services to a total of 270 beneficiaries. These included QCPD personnel, their dependents, authorized civilians, and Persons Under Police Custody (PUPCs). Services rendered were general medical consultations, chest X-ray examinations, and support for the ongoing Ligtas SUMVAC 2025 campaign.
To promote excellence and uplift morale within the organization, QCPD conferred a total of 2,228 individual commendations to personnel in recognition of their dedication, professionalism, and exemplary performance.
As part of the district’s morale and welfare initiatives, the Office of the District Executive Senior Police Officer (ODESPO) conducted “Talk to Men” sessions with Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs) from the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), District Tactical and Explosives Unit (DTEU), and District Traffic Management Unit (DTMU) to directly address the issues and concerns raised by personnel from these units.
Strengthening police-community relations also remained a priority, holding over 50 “Ugnayang Pulisya sa Barangay” activities across Quezon City. These gatherings build trust, encourage cooperation, and share responsibility for keeping neighborhoods safe.
To sustain operational readiness, QCPD facilitated the repair and maintenance of 11 service vehicles, improving the mobility and responsiveness of its stations and units. Additionally, structural improvements such as wall proofing and repainting were carried out in police station buildings and outposts to ensure a safer and more conducive working environment for personnel.
“Sa QCPD, sinisiguro naming hindi lamang ang kaligtasan ng publiko ang aming tinututukan, kundi pati na rin ang kapakanan, kahandaan, at kabuuang kalagayan ng aming mga tauhan. Sama-sama naming isinusulong ang isang mas matatag, mas maayos, at mas maaasahang kapulisan para sa bawat mamamayan ng Lungsod Quezon,” ani PCOL Silvio.###
