QUEZON CITY, July 8, 2025 — As part of its continued efforts to uphold peace and order, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of PCOL Randy Glenn Silvio, recorded the highest number of arrests of wanted persons from May 10 to July 4, 2025, surpassing the four other police districts in the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
During this period, QCPD successfully apprehended a total of 597 wanted individuals. The arrests included 249 Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) and 348 Other Wanted Persons (OWPs) as part of QCPD’s manhunt operations and its sustained campaign against criminality.
A key factor in this accomplishment is the Warrant Day conducted every Friday of the week and is one of QCPD’s best practices, which began on April 25, 2025. It focuses on locating and arresting people with outstanding warrants. This effort has made operations more efficient and improved the district’s ability to deliver justice.
“Our success reflects the dedication and swift action of all QCPD units. We remain firmly committed to providing responsive and effective public service to ensure the safety and security of the people of Quezon City,” said PCOL Silvio.
QCPD continues to urge the public to support its anti-crime efforts by reporting any suspicious individuals or criminal activities by dialling the national emergency hotline 911 and QC Helpline 122.##
